Disciples III - Elven Concept Art @ Akella

Akella  has posted a look at the Elven faction's  leader unit, the Archon, and two pieces of concept art for their fantasy strategy/rpg Disciples III:Renaissance. Here's a bit of the Elven backstory:

All the battle mages of the Forest People are experimenting with the deadly forces of nature and are using this new found knowledge against their enemies. However, only archons can wipe out entire enemy armies from the face of the earth by taking control of the storms and unleashing them in their attacks.

In a time of peace (but rather in the time periods between battles, because peace time in the land of Nevendaar occurs rarely), the archon assembly is taking place in the Supreme Council, which is a huge and wonderful light filled building, soaring high into the air above the elven capital. It is here that they train, maintain their skills at the right level, teach beginners, and decide who of the young wizards is worthy to replenish their ranks.
