Eve Online - CCP & White Wolf Party at GDC

CCP and White Wolf are looking for a few good....people. Shane DeFreest from Maverick Promotions let us know about an event to be held at next week's Game Developers' Conference:

When EVE Online Publisher CCP out of Iceland, merged with White Wolf Game Studio out of Atlanta one could only wonder what combined debauchery these two notorious party companies might unleash upon the games industry.

Well, if you're interested in working in the game business, moving up in the game business, or just want to see if your liver can keep up with the combined might of these two titans of intoxication and party like there is no tomorrow, here is your chance.

"We're recruiting, have a drink!" said Mike Tinney, President of CCP North America.  CCP and White Wolf invite any prospective candidates to visit their booth for a party invite.

"Ég hlakka mikið til að verða afar drukkinn, varpa fólki yfir höfuð mér og kljúfa það í herðar niður." added CCP CEO Hilmar Petursson.

What if you're not able to make it to the booth?  Well, as it happens, these guys know a lot about hangovers, so all you need to do to get into the party is bring your resume.  And, just to make it interesting, the highest caliber resume received will win a one year subscription to EVE Online; a trip to the EVE Online Fan Fest and   a complete collection of the World of Darkness book line.

CCP, the lads that are known for bringing a bar as part of their booth to every convention they attend, and, White Wolf, whose cult status as the guys who brought goths, girls and a never ending supply of intoxicated hi-jinks to the hobby game industry "might just be the most boisterous combination GDC has ever seen," stated one industry insider who asked to remain anonymous.
