Gematsu reports that Godfall: Ultimate Edition will be releasing April 7th for Xbox Series, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 as well as Steam and Epic Games Store.

Godfall: Ultimate Edition includes the core Godfall experience, the “Primal,” “Lightbringer,” and “Exalted” updates, the “Fire & Darkness” expansion, and the previously exclusive “Ascended Edition” and pre-order bonuses.

Godfall is going to launch on Nov 12th on PS5 and PC (Epic Store). They call it a looter slasher, but to break it down even more I call it a Fantasy Melee Action Looter RPG. There are many things that look like they will be making up this game, but combat is core to them. It has loot of varying quality, skill trees, weapon types, fantasy realms and enemies and more. The more I learn about the game, the more I look forward to playing and covering this game for all of you.

Godfall launches alongside PlayStation 5 next week and will remain a console exclusive on Sony’s platform until mid-2021. Gearbox Publishing and Counterplay Games’ next-gen game got a launch trailer to help celebrate the impending release date, and as noticed by Nibel on Twitter, Sony’s version of the video says that the looter-slasher will remain a console exclusive until “at least” May 12, 2021. DSOGaming reports that Godfall will not have an offline mode.

Godfall is a third-person fantasy action RPG that will release next month. However, it appears that this new game will not have an offline mode. Instead, PC gamers will need a constant Internet connection, even for its single-player campaign.

Gearbox and Counterplay Games claim that Godfall won’t be a service game. However, this does not mean that the game will not require a constant internet connection to play.

Godfall promises to feature exotic vistas; from the above-ground reefs of the Water Realm to the subterranean crimson forests of the Earth Realm. The game will also have five weapon classes, each with unique playstyles. Players can also expect a variety of longswords, polearms, warhammers, greatswords, and dual blades.

The game will support both solo and co-op modes. As such, players can team up with three of their friends for PvE online co-op play.

Godfall will release on November 12th.
