Game of the Year Awards 2023 - Most Promising RPG

Here are the games our members and editors look forward to most in 2024:

Gamers' Choice: Dragon Age: Dreadwolf

Many Watchers have good memories of Dragon Age: Origins and hope that Bioware can return to form with Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.

   

Gamers' Runner Up: Avowed

Another action RPG - Avowed - comes from Obsidian Entertainment. Many Watchers have high hopes for it.

   

Editors' Runner Up: Broken Roads

Some editors prefer turn-based combat, so they voted for the post-apocalyptic RPG Broken Roads.

 

Gamers' Third Place and Editors' First Place: Gothic 1 Remake

RPGDot was and RPGWatch is a homebase for Piranha Bytes fans, so it is no surprise that the editors and members are waiting for the Gothic Remake.

 

Editors' Third Place: Outcast - A New Beginning

Like Gothic the original Outcast was an oustanding game - and the editors hope that Outcast - A New Beginning can re-create this fantastic sci-fi world.
